Plane bomb suspect can take laptop to prison
A federal judge ruled Thursday that lawyers for underwear bombing suspect Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab can bring a laptop computer, data disks and other electronic materials to the Milan prison where he is being held before trial. U.S. District Judge Nancy Edmunds said that “a substantial amount of the case materials in this case are in electronic format.”
